Started as a small, local molding house in 1958, Futuramik grew to 55 molding machines, a 3-shift production, yet still found occasions when they could not accept additional customer work as they did not have the necessary equipment available .



Molding being an extremely capital intensive business, additional equipment acquisitions require floor space, job hours and financial resources to make sense. But NOT adding more equipment for any reason meant not satisfying customer requirements and possibly losing current jobs to larger molders.



To resolve the issue and move to a different level, Futuramik developed a unique concept of "Cross Molding" to offer all molding services requested by their clients, regardless of in-house machines. A network of plastic molding facilities was formed that are licensed as "Team " contractors after accepting a rigorous set of standards detailed by Futuramik. With overview from Futuramik personnel of manufacturing, engineering and quality, these additional facilities allow for a wide range of equipment , experienced management and a willingness to work as an extension of Futuramik Industries under contract in a different physical location. As the principle responsibility for all plastics processed including pricing, production and all quality requirements, Futuramik directs the efforts of all involved for their clients. All shipped parts are invoiced by Futuramik and any questions are resolved by Futuramik.
